Founder | Sound Practitioner, Sound Artist & Educator
Tessa Ann has worked with sound and music for almost three decades, across creative, wellbeing, and experiential contexts.
Bringing together a deep relationship with sound, listening-led practice, and a commitment to ethical wellbeing work, she founded The Sound Healing Spa, a space dedicated to immersive sound experiences for individuals, families, and organisations.
Tessa is also the creator of The Sound Oracle, an experiential learning system that supports practitioners to explore sound as a relational, sensory, and embodied experience rather than a prescriptive technique.
She later established TESSA UnLtd, through which she delivers reflective practitioner education, professional development, publishing, and sound-based projects across public, private, and organisational settings.
Her work centres on sound as an invitation to listen, notice, and respond — supporting awareness, connection, and wellbeing through experience rather than instruction.
The conception of the original Sound Healing Spa
I founded the original Sound Healing Spa in 2013, creating a space where people could experience sound in a calm, immersive, and restorative way.
Since then, my team and I have delivered a wide range of sound-based experiences, workshops, training, and events for individuals, groups, businesses, organisations, and festivals. This work has taken place across intimate settings and large-scale environments, always shaped by listening, atmosphere, and the needs of those present.
At its heart, The Sound Healing Spa is about creating spaces where people can slow down, reconnect, and experience sound as supportive, engaging, and deeply human — whether for rest, reflection, creativity, or shared experience.
You’re warmly invited to explore sound with us.

The Sound Oracle
Over time, I developed The Sound Oracle as an experiential learning system that supports exploration of sound through listening, relationship, and embodied awareness.
Rather than teaching fixed techniques or prescribed meanings, The Sound Oracle offers a framework for engaging with sound as a living, responsive experience — shaped by context, perception, and individual response.
The system can be explored by those new to sound as well as by experienced practitioners who wish to deepen sensitivity, refine listening-led playing, and expand how they work with sound in a reflective and responsible way.
The Sound Oracle supports learning across personal exploration, professional development, and practitioner education, always prioritising listening, discernment, and ethical awareness over interpretation or outcome.
TESSA UN Ltd
In 2020, I founded TESSA UN Ltd as a creative and educational company supporting sound-based learning, professional development, and publishing.
Through practitioner education, CPD courses, products, and resources, TESSA UN Ltd offers opportunities to explore sound as a relational, sensory, and embodied experience — supporting deeper awareness of self, environment, and response.
Rather than teaching prescriptive techniques or fixed interpretations, learning within TESSA UN Ltd encourages practitioners and learners to develop listening, sensitivity, and discernment in how sound is perceived and engaged with.
This work supports personal development, reflective professional practice, and ethical use of sound within wellbeing contexts, always within appropriate scope and responsibility.
