Experience the wonder of Magical Sounds with Echo Ta Ta & Friends and join Tessa Ann for her interactive, immersive storytelling experience that blends sound, nature, and participation.
Listen as sound comes to life in a magical way through the characters in her book. You'll also have the chance to create sounds, play instruments, and become part of the story’s soundscape.
Afterwards, unwind with a calming Family Sound Bath.
This magical experience lasts for 1.5 hours and is perfect for families, sound lovers, and nature enthusiasts.
There will also be colouring activities available for children, and attendees will have the opportunity to purchase Tessa Ann's Magical Sounds book from the Castle Espie shop at a discounted price as part of this event.
After the session, feel free to visit the café for refreshments and take time to explore the Castle Espie sensory garden and orchard, where you can fully immerse yourself in the natural symphony of your surroundings.
*Please note that tickets do not include general admission to the Castle Espie wildlife reserve, which must be purchased separately.

Step into a magical world of sound and storytelling with this interactive and immersive experience designed for children aged 4-12 and their families. Tessa Ann invites young participants to engage with the characters from her book, Magical Sounds with Echo Ta Ta & Friends, exploring different sounds, tones, and nature through this fun and interactive family experience.
- Listen as Tessa Ann brings her story to life through sound and vibration.
- Join in! Make your own sounds, play instruments, and help create the story’s soundscape.
- Discover the real magical sounds of Castle Espie—from birdsong to the whispering water.
- Unwind together in a soothing Family Sound Bath to relax and reset before the end of the session.
🧘 How to Prepare:
- You can lie down or sit during the Family Sound Bath—whatever feels most comfortable.
- Mats will be provided, but bring a cushion and blanket for extra coziness.
🎟️ £10 plus booking fee per place with the option to purchase Magical Sounds with Echo Ta Ta & Friends at a discounted price from the Castle Espie shop as part of this event.

Getting there
By Car: From Belfast follow the A20 along the Upper Newtownards Road. Turn Right onto the Comber Road and continue along the A22. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Killinchy Road A22. Turn left onto Ballydrain Road. Continue along the Ballydrain Road. Look for Castle Espie Signs, destination on the left at 78 Ballydrain Rd, Comber, Newtownards BT23 6EA. Car parking on site.
