This CPD certified course will resource you to deliver fun and interactive wellbeing sessions to help you enhance a child’s self esteem and build their mental resilience with therapeutic sound.
IN-PERSON AT THE SOUND SPA STUDIO
Date: Sunday 2 February 2025
Time: 11.00 am - 4 pm
COURSE INCLUDES:
- 1 x practical workshop day - (IN-PERSON)
- Easy to follow online modules to prepare you for your practical workshop days with 14 interactive videos
- 1 x review / check-in session following 3 client practice sessions
- CPD (Continuing Professional Development) certificate upon completion
- Ongoing support by email offered as you complete your client case sessions
- Sound Explorer Kit of 1 x Tibetan singing bowl, mallet, rainstick, seed shaker, rattle, tingshas and recorded sounds.
- Magical Sounds book and resources.
YOU ARE EXPECTED TO COMPLETE:
- 3 x client case sessions following your practical day
- 1 x check-in review on Zoom 3 x weeks after your practical day
YOU WILL LEARN HOW TO:
- Play instruments to support children & young people with sound
- Use sound tools and techniques to support positive mental wellness and self-regulation
- Integrate sound into your daily role or practice
- Explore your personal connection with sound, before sharing sound with others
- Play instruments for your own personal practice and self-care
- Explore how you may use sound to support children with varying needs, sound sensitivities and sound sensory challenges
Once you complete the course you will receive a continuing professional development certification worth 8 CPD hours to keep for your CPD records.

It was an amazing immersive sound experience, it was so good to listen to the sounds and discuss our observations and responses.
