(October 2025)
During 2025, I’ve delivered practical work with practitioners who support individuals and groups experiencing sensory sensitivities and neurodiverse profiles, exploring how sound can support emotional regulation and sensory comfort. Backed by a Business Innovation Grant from Invest NI, this endeavour is more than theory — it’s grounded in real application and development.
What I’ve put into motion
Working directly with practitioners who support people with sensory sensitivities, I introduced a variety of sound concepts — which those practitioners then applied in their own work with clients. I invited open, honest feedback on how each concept felt — in terms of comfort, emotional impact and sensory ease — as well as what was observed in practice. Drawing from those insights, I began crafting sample sound-based products and offerings informed by that work.
What’s next & what you can expect
This project is ever evolving, and the product line is drawing closer to launch. I am preparing to introduce curated sound-based products designed to support sensory regulation and emotional well-being. Watch this space — more will be revealed soon.
