Bespoke Therapeutic Sound Diploma - Level 3 (LIVE ONLINE or IN-PERSON)
This diploma offers professional practitioner training for those who wish to work responsibly with sound in one-to-one and group contexts.
The programme is designed for practitioners who have already developed foundational, listening-led sound awareness and are ready to undertake practitioner-level facilitation, ethical responsibility, and professional accountability.
This is not an introductory or experiential course.
It is a structured qualification pathway involving assessment, reflection, supervised learning, and applied practice.
Who this Diploma is for
This diploma is suitable for practitioners who:
- Have completed Level 1 Sound for Wellbeing (or an equivalent foundational course)
- Have experience working with people in a wellbeing, therapeutic, or facilitative role
- Are ready to work within defined scope, ethics, and professional responsibility
- Wish to train towards qualification as a Therapeutic Sound Practitioner
- Entry is by suitability and readiness, rather than automatic progression.

Training Format
The course is delivered through a coaching and mentoring-style training approach, offered:
- Live online via Zoom, or
- In person where feasible
- Training dates are arranged to support depth, reflection, and integration.
Participants are supported to develop practitioner-level skills in working with sound in both one-to-one and group contexts, with emphasis on listening, response, pacing, and ethical facilitation rather than prescriptive technique.
Working with groups
This diploma includes practitioner training in working with groups, supporting participants to facilitate sound-based group experiences responsibly and within professional scope.
Group work includes learning how to hold sound experiences (sometimes referred to as sound baths) with attention to environment, safety, sensitivity, and participant response.
Qualification
Upon successful completion of all course requirements, participants may qualify as Therapeutic Sound Practitioners.
Completion requirements include:
Four practical training sessions
A combination of supervised one-to-one and group client case studies
Reflective learning and assessment components
Qualification is awarded subject to successful completion of all assessment, practice, and supervision requirements.
CPD Option
This course may also be undertaken as a CPD (Continuing Professional Development) pathway for those who wish to engage in advanced learning without completing the full diploma requirements.
The CPD pathway does not confer practitioner qualification.
Entry Requirements
Completion of Level 1 Sound for Wellbeing, or an equivalent foundational course, is normally required prior to entry.
Instrument kits
Participants will receive guidance on selecting appropriate instruments for their practice.
Starter instrument kits are available to purchase through the studio if desired; however, purchasing instruments is not required prior to commencing the course.

Meet your tutor
Tessa Ann, from The Sound Healing Spa is the founder of TESSA UN Ltd Therapeutic Sound Academy & creator of The Sound Oracle therapeutic sound learning system.
In her practice she uses the medium of sound for personal development & wellness. Her wealth of experience spans across 25 years to include her work as therapeutic sound practitioner with:
1-2-1 clients , Community, public and corporate organisations, teaching and events.
She also delivers and organises sound and wellness experiences for festivals and events.
Having gained qualifications as a yoga teacher, movement facilitator, shamanic practitioner and other therapeutic approaches, she combines her wide range of experience and knowledge to offer a unique delivery approach to therapeutic sound for 1-2-1 and group work.
