Part of The Place to BE series, this experience explores the relationship between sound, listening and environment within a cocoon-like studio setting designed for rest, reflection and sensory awareness.

Taking place close to the New Moon, this experience offers an opportunity to pause, settle and create space for new beginnings through sound, stillness and mindful listening.

Event Overview

The Experience

Held within the calm atmosphere of the studio, this experience invites you to settle, rest and be immersed in sound.

A range of instruments including Tibetan singing bowls, crystal singing bowls, drum and subtle percussion are used to create a layered and evolving sound environment.

While often described as a sound bath experience, the emphasis is on direct experience through sound, listening and moments of stillness. With minimal spoken guidance, participants are invited to engage in their own way, allowing the sounds and space to unfold naturally.

Many people experience a sense of relaxation, restoration and wellbeing, while also discovering new ways of listening, reflecting and connecting with themselves and the environment around them.

Designed to support calm, reflection and sensory rest, this experience offers an opportunity to step away from the pace of everyday life and reconnect through sound, space and stillness.

The Setting

The experience may be enjoyed either lying down on a mat or seated in a chair, depending on your comfort and accessibility needs.

A short introduction will take place before the experience begins.

Sustainability

Part of The Place to BE series, this experience embraces a place-based approach, encouraging deeper engagement with sound, self and environment through the thoughtful use of existing spaces.

The slower pace and limited group size support a more spacious and considered approach to immersive experience design, valuing depth of experience over scale.
